History

Primepower International was founded in 1982  to serve our Nigerian company

Primepower Ltd (Nigeria) (since 1973)

Primepower Nigeria was highly successful in providing M&E services, generators and Township pumps etc. 

​

Steven Kerr eventually took over the company broadening its  portfolio by taking on and completing successfully larger contracts for M&E installations, not to mention the most recent project for CAE, Boeing, flight simulation school.

​

As Nigeria went through continually more frequent political and financial instabilities Steven looked for a different direction.

​

Now Primepower Int Ltd has opened a new boat yard and  is entering its third generation of home-grown talent with sister Tamasine (Director)  and sub contractor Brandon joining along with Paul Stevens our carpenter.

Brandon  earned a wealth of experience working on narrow boats and barges when he worked for a local  boat yard & is now taking on the heavier engineering at our yard at Unit 10 Walk Farm, Saul, GL2 7JY

We have made extensive alterations to Saul Marina slipway allowing us to lift out narrow boats up to 60ft long and manoeuvre them to our new yard.
